If your baby is gaining weight, has regular wet diapers (6-8 per day), and seems content after feedings, they are likely getting enough milk. Frequent nursing and observing your baby’s cues are key indicators.

Signs you’re making enough milk include your baby gaining weight, having 6-8 wet diapers daily, and feeding regularly. Frequent nursing helps maintain supply. If concerned, consult a lactation expert or your pediatrician for guidance.

Breastfeed exclusively for about the first 6 months, then continue breastfeeding along with solid foods for at least 12 months. Beyond that, continue as long as it's mutually desired by both you and your baby.
